FWISC Skaters and Parents,

Our club takes your safety seriously. To that end, your board members and all coaches associated with FWISC are SkateSafe certified through US Figure Skating. We also discuss member issues, rights and responsibilities, and have determined the importance of updating our membership packet to include a "Skater Code of Conduct" to ensure alignment to behavior standards. Additionally, we want to make known our complaint procedure. It is important for the safety of our skaters, volunteers, coaches and board members that this procedure be followed when behavior standards are violated. Please do NOT approach a youth skater outside your family concerning their behavior.

Lastly, as we know that not all members of the FWISC have met, much less become friends, it is the expectation that we will all be friendly. Treat each other kindly and with respect. And, knowing that everyone has a bad day once in a while, please have patience with each other when frustrations, or disappointments, or emotions get the best of us.
