Off The Blade Activities
Contrary to popular belief,
we don't always wear ice skates.
From parties, to celebrating others, to serving others, our club members love to help and have a great time. To find out more about any of these activities, please contact us.
Junior Board
Club Members are specially chosen from submitted applications followed by interviews to serve on this board. These members are hands-on for so many activities, such as planning send-off parties for skaters leaving for competitions, and creating festive decorations. They are greatly appreciated!
Banquet & Awards
We celebrate every skater's accomplishments with an annual banquet. Many awards are given out and it is a great reminder of how far we've all come in the past year. To see the recipients of our Awards visit our
Volunteering
We help out when help is needed, whether that be helping with the Battle of the Blades preparation, or anything else that may be needed. To serve is to care.
Skate Buddies
We have a mentoring program where older skaters help our younger skaters on and off the ice. If you are a NEW member and would like to be a part of this program, please contact Angela Bolin at angelabbolin@gmail.com.
Holiday Parties
We have a lot of fun planning our Halloween Party each year. Wearing costumes, playing games, and eating great food is the perfect formula for having a great time!
Trolley Tour
One of our fun outings is going downtown in Fort Wayne's famous trolley to see all of the sights during the holidays! It's a great time to go crazy, have some laughs, and not think about how cold it is! (Eh, we are on ice most of the time, so it's not a big deal.)
